Melissa and Ty are the driving forces behind two local enterprises that nourish both body and community — Simply Sourdough & Co and Box LT Services LLC.  

Born and raised with a deep appreciation for wholesome food and meaningful work, Melissa brings her passion for artisan baking and community care to Simply Sourdough & Co, where every loaf is handcrafted using a proprietary blend of all-Organic Whole Grain Stone Ground Flours and a long, slow natural fermentation process. Melissa continues to work her full time day job as a Project Manager for major accounts and also serves as the founding Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Richfield WI Farmers Market, helping grow and strengthen a vibrant local gathering of growers and makers, and is a director on the Wisconsin Cottage Food Association board, working to educate and support cottage bakers across the state of Wisconsin.

 Ty is a genuine jack of all trades whose talents span from excelling in manufacturing management, where he not only oversaw production but also routinely ran and repaired equipment to keep costs down and workflows moving. He’s equally adept at organizing complex logistics — having managed hundreds of shipments in a single day with precision and calm under pressure. These days you can find him under of one of their children’s or friends cars, building and maintaining their garden plots, putting in countless hours for Simply Sourdough & Co as the unwavering support behind the scenes, or tending landscapes through his company Box LT Services LLC, a fully licensed and insured yard and lawn maintenance company known for its dependable and meticulous service. Together as a husband-and-wife team, Melissa and Ty balance the craft of Sourdough baking and the demands of landscape care with integrity, creativity, and service to neighbors in Lisbon, Sussex, Richfield, and beyond. Their shared values of hard work, sustainability, and community connection are at the heart of everything they do.
